Ingredients
Serves: 6- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 2 celery ribs, sliced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 6 hamburger buns, split
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. Combine ground beef, celery, and onion in a large skillet and set over medium heat. Cook, stirring, until beef is thoroughly browned. Pour off excess liquid.
2. Add tomato sauce, ketchup, sugar, barbecue sauce, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Stir and let the liquids come to a boil, then simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes.
3. Fill buns with the beef mixture. Serve.
