Curried sausages recipe details
This is a classic recipe for Curried Sausages. There’s nothing like the taste of a slow cooked sausages in a classic curry sauce. This dish is great for a meal in cold times and can be served with fresh steamed vegetables of your choice. This recipe has been a traditional recipe in my family for years. Very tasty!!

Ingredients
Serves: 2- 4 pork sausages (thick ones)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 onions (medium size)
- 4 teaspoons curry powder
- freshly cracked pepper
- 1/2 pound string beans
- 1 carrot (medium size)
- 1 pinch chili powder (if needed)
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 30 mins1. Boil sausages first to prevent splitting.
2. Take sausages off heat and let them cool.
3. Pan fry sausages until brown.
4. Take sausages off heat and add garlic and onions.
5. Slice sausages into 45 degree cuts of 4 per sausage (1 inch thick).
6. Add sausages to pan with cooked garlic and onions.
7. Stir and add 4 to 5 teaspoons of curry powder.
8. Add cracked pepper to taste.
9. Add string beans.
10. Stir and simmer for about 20 to 30 minutes.
11. Serve with fresh steamed vegetables and add chili to taste.
