Cucumber salad with garlic recipe details
Ingredients
1 | Lebanese cucumber |
½ tsp | salt |
2 tbsp | wine vinegar |
1 tbsp | sesam oil |
1 tsp | chili sauce |
1 tsp | Szechuan pepper, freshly ground |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 tsp | sugar |
Instructions
Peel the cucumber and cut in half lengthwise. Scoop out the seeds with a spoon. Cut the cucumbers diagonal in 1cm pieces and place them in a bowl with salt. Mix well and leave for 15 minutes.In the meantime in a separate bowl mix the rest of ingredients.
Drain cucumbers, discard the liquid. Add oil – vinegar mixture and mix well, cover and leave in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving.
