- Ingredients:
- 2 sticks of margarine
- 3-1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1+ cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon or more cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Melt the margarine in a large pot; cool. Add the oats and stir to coat. Mix the flour, sugars, cinnamon, and salt together and stir into the oats. Keeps tightly covered in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks… if it ever lasts that long.
This makes a great topping for fruit crisps, dutch apple pie, or almost any muffin. Also good on ice cream.
