Easy pork chops with a crunchy coating. Healthier than fried, but with that crispy breading we all love.
Ready in: 30 mins

Ingredients

Serves: 4
  • 2/3 cup butter-and-herb flavored mashed potato flakes
  • 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 (6 ounce, 1-inch thick) bone-in pork loin chops
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil

Preparation method

Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 15 mins

1. Stir potato flakes, cheese, and garlic powder together in a shallow pie pan. Dip pork chops in butter, then dredge in potato flake mixture.
2. Pour canola oil into a large skillet and set over medium heat. Cook pork chops in hot oil for about 15 minutes, flipping midway through cooking time, until the meat reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees F. Serve.
