Creamed tuna with sour cream recipe details
Ingredients1. Tuna drained (1can about 6 ½ to 9 ounce)
2. sour cream (1/2c)
3. milk (1 1/4c)
4. ground black pepper (a dash)
5. butter (3tbsp)
6. finely minced onion (2tbsp)
7. flour (3tbsp)
8. toasted silvered almonds (2tbsp optional)
9. fresh chopped parsley (2tbsp)
10. dry sherry (2tbsp)
11. hot cooked rice or baked puff pastry (for 4 servings)
12. salt (1/4tsp)
Method of preparation
1. Take a saucepan of medium size, place it over low heat. Heat butter in it and then cook onions in it until they become soft. Then mix flour, pepper and salt in it and then cook it by stirring until the mixture gets bubbly and becomes smooth.
2. Slowly mix milk in it and cook it by stirring regularly until the mixture gets thicken. Mow mix sour cream in it and then add tuna, parsley and sherry in it. Heat this mixture properly.
3. Now take a serving bowl, put the mixture in it with a spoon and then sprinkle the silvered almond over it. When the fish gets cooked then serve it with hot cooked rice or parsley shells.
