Cranberry fruit compote recipe details
Fresh cranberries cooked with pineapple and blueberries, making for a most delicious combination of flavors and textures. A great twist on an old favorite!

Ingredients
Serves: 12- 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
- 1 (12 ounce) bag fresh cranberries
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (thawed if frozen)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
Preparation method
Prep: 1 hour | Cook: 25 mins1. In a heavy 3 quart or larger saucepan with a lid, add all ingredients. Place over low heat, covered, and allow to come to slow boil, stirring often.
2. Boil slow and low for about 10 minutes or until all cranberries have burst, being sure to keep fruit stirred down off pan sides. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
3. Pour into lidded serving dish, allow the compote to come to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 45 minutes or until compote has jellied.
