Cornbread sticks with maine blueberries recipe details
- Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1 Tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup blueberries
Preheat oven and cast-iron pans to 425 degrees. Beat milk and egg until blended. Sift together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add 1 cup blueberries to dry ingredients. Combine liquid and dry ingredients quickly. Remove pans from oven and brush or spray with oil or baking spray. Pour batter into iron pans. Return to oven and bake 15 to 20 minutes.
