Coconut sesame crackers recipe details
Ingredients
200 g | whole wheat flour |
100 g | medium coconut, unsweetened, shredded |
40 g | sesame seeds, or sunflower seeds |
30 g | soft butter |
¼ tsp | baking powder |
250 ml | milk – water mix, or coconut milk |
some | salt to taste |
1 small | onion(s), chopped |
meat of a coconut | |
nuts, chopped |
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together and roll out onto baking sheet using a second sheet on top of the dough, sprinkle with sesame seeds and cut into stripes or squares.Punch each piece with a fork. Bake for 20 minutes at 220°C until crisp.
Variation:For a more interesting look add some saffron, tomato paste or green pesto to the dough. Crackers can easily be done to your taste. You can add any flavour; just use your fantasy.
Serving suggestion:Best served to cheese or dips.
