Cinnamon heart coffee cake recipe details
- Ingredients for Cake:
- 1-1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 Tablespoons melted shortening
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla or rum
- Topping:
- 2 Tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts
- 1-1/2 teaspoons flour
- 2 teaspoons melted oleo
Cake: Mix dry ingredients together then add all other. Pour into buttered heart pan, 8 x 8 inches or 9 x 9 inches.
Topping: Mix together ingredients. Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle on top of batter. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
