This rub has the flavor of coffee, the spice of cayenne, the sweetness of brown sugar, and whatever you want to say cinnamon tastes like. Makes for a unique steak. Inspired by teamswitch’s “Coffee-Crusted Beef Tenderloin Steak”

Ingredients
Makes: 4 tablespoons
- 1/4 cup finely ground espresso or strong coffee beans
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins
1. In a small bowl, combine coffee, sugar, cinnamon, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Use to season meats and vegetables before grilling.Note
Recipe makes about 1/2 cup rub, enough for 12 steaks.
