Ingredients
Serves: 12- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter flavored shortening
- 1 cup milk
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 12 mins | Extra time: 3 mins1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
2. Mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cinnamon and butter flavored shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk and mix until dry mixture is absorbed. Drop dough by large spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet.
3. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in preheated oven, or until golden brown.
