Cider sauce recipe details
- Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 Tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon each cinnamon and nutmeg or1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 2 cups pressed apple cider
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 to 2 Tablespoons butter
In saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir in apple cider and lemon juice. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir one minute. Remove from heat. Stir in butter.
