Chunky chocolate chip cookies recipe details
- Ingredients
- 3/4 cups butter-flavored shortening
- 1-1/4 cups brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons milk
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1-3/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup chocolate chunk chips
- 1 cup pecan chunks
I always make a double batch of these because they are so popular.
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Cream shortening, sugar, milk, and vanilla. Blend in egg. Combine flour, salt, and baking soda and add to creamed mixture. Mix in chips and nuts. Drop tablespoon of dough onto ungreased baking sheet and bake for 11 minutes. Cool on pan for 2 minutes, then transfer to cooling rack.
