Chuck’s Spaghetti & Meatballs

A blend of recipes I’ve found plus my own thoughts for a delicious homemade spaghetti sauce with meatballs.

Ingredients
Serves: 5-
MEATBALLS:
- 2lbs 93% lean ground beef
- 1cup italian bread crumbs
- 5cloves minced garlic
- 1/4cup diced fresh parsley
- 1/2 sweet onion diced
- 2eggs SAUCE:
- 2 14.5oz can Petite Diced Tomatos 1 was hot w/ green chillies
- 2 6oz can tomato paste (1 italian herb & 1 roasted garlic)
- 24oz Tomato Sauce
- 3T sugar
- 6oz fresh sliced mushrooms
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 1 red pepper diced
- 1/2 sweet onion diced
- 1T dried basil
- 1T garlic powder
- 1T dried oregano
- 1T dried thyme
- 2t dried rosemary
- 1t dried marjoram
- 1t crushed bay leaf
- 1/4t cayenne pepper
- 2T kosher salt
- 1t black pepper
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 8 mins1. Add all the meatball ingredients to a large mixing bowl and form 20 evenly sized meatballs.
2. Mix all sauce ingredients in slow cooker.
3. Layer meatballs to in sauce avoiding stacking.
4. Cook for 8hrs, stir about 4hrs in if possible.
5. Prepare your choice of pasta and serve with sauce and meatballs.Cook Information Cleanup:
