Christmas fudge recipe details
Ingredients
130 g | confectioner’s sugar |
120 g | butter |
120 ml | whipping cream |
⅛ tsp | salt |
250 g | powdered sugar |
1 tsp | vanilla |
160 g | red and green candied cherries, chopped |
Instructions
Spray a baking dish with cooking spray.Combine the sugar, butter, cream and salt in a large saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and slowly add the powdered sugar and vanilla, stirring until well combined. Stir in the cherries.
Spoon into the baking dish and chill until firm, about 1-2 hours.
To serve, cut into squares. Store in an airtight container.
