Ingredients

6  eggs
250 g sugar
350 ml brandy
125 ml rum
1 l milk, low fat
l cream
125 g icing sugar
4 sachet vanilla sugar

Instructions

Separate the eggs. Whisk the yolks, gradually adding the sugar. Slowly stir in the brandy and rum, then whisk in the milk and half of the cream. Keep in the fridge until serving or for at least 1 hour.

Just before serving, whisk the egg whites until stiff and fold the beaten egg white into the eggnog mixture. Whisk the remaining cream with the icing sugar until stiff. Top each glass of eggnog with a dollop of the whipped cream.
