Chocolate rum sauce

- 3 Tablespoons sugar
- 3 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup skim milk
- 2 Tablespoons light-colored corn syrup
- 1 Tablespoon rum
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine first 3 ingredients in a small saucepan. Gradually stir in milk and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in rum and vanilla. Serve warm over angel food cake, ice milk, ice cream, etc.
