Chocolate oat cookies recipe details
Ingredients
100 g | fine wheat flour |
1 tsp | baking soda |
¼ tsp | salt |
300 g | brown sugar |
300 g | sugar |
350 g | butter |
1 tsp | vanilla essence |
1 large | egg |
180 g | dark chocolate chips |
75 g | currants |
50 g | uncooked oats |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 175°C and grease a baking tray.Mix wheat flour, salt and baking soda. Cream sugar and butter. Add vanilla essence, and eggs one by one while mixing. Add the flour mixture and mix the oats. Mix well and add currants and chocolate chips.
Now drop one spoonful of the batter 2.5 cm apart on the greased baking tray and bake for 12 – 14 minutes or until golden in colour.
