- Ingredients
- One 13-ounce can (1-2/3 cups) evaporated milk
- One 3-ounce package lime Jellogelatin
- 1-3/4 cup hot water
- 1/4 cup lime juice (notfresh)
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice (notfresh)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/3 cup melted butter
Instructions:
Chill evaporated milk in freezer just until icy. Dissolve gelatin in hot water. Chill gelatin until partially set, then whip until fluffy. Stir in lime and lemon juices and sugar. In a separate bowl, whip milk. Fold into gelatin mixture.
Combine cookie crumbs and butter and press into bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Pour gelatin on top. Garnish with shaved chocolate or a few reserved cookie crumbs. Chill for 8 or more hours until very firm. Cut into squares and serve.
