Ingredients

200 g flour
200 g sugar
4 tbsp baking powder
150 g dark chocolate, melted
125 g butter, melted
125 ml single cream
100 g chocolate, to garnish
1 large can(s) pears, sliced
4  eggs
some butter

Instructions

In a bowl, whisk the butter with the sugar. Whisk in the eggs and add stirring the cream and the melted chocolate. Mix the flour with baking powder and sieve over the mixture. Cover the bowl with a lid and shake until well combined.

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Pour the batter onto a buttered baking tray. Divide the pear slices on top. Bake for 20-30 minutes. Allow to cool.

Melt the remaining chocolate and sprinkle the cake with the chocolate.
