Ingredients
200 g | flour |
200 g | sugar |
4 tbsp | baking powder |
150 g | dark chocolate, melted |
125 g | butter, melted |
125 ml | single cream |
100 g | chocolate, to garnish |
1 large can(s) | pears, sliced |
4 | eggs |
some | butter |
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk the butter with the sugar. Whisk in the eggs and add stirring the cream and the melted chocolate. Mix the flour with baking powder and sieve over the mixture. Cover the bowl with a lid and shake until well combined.Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Pour the batter onto a buttered baking tray. Divide the pear slices on top. Bake for 20-30 minutes. Allow to cool.
Melt the remaining chocolate and sprinkle the cake with the chocolate.
