Chinese Style Sake Duck recipe

|350 g||duck breast, cut into stripes|
|4 slice(s)||canned pineapple, diced|
|2 tbsp||soy sauce|
|8 small||Maraschino cherries|
In a saucepan, combine the sake, water and duck breast. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Stir in the soy sauce, sugar, cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of the pineapple juice from the can. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the pineapples and Maraschino cherries and simmer for 2 more minutes. Season to taste with soy sauce and pineapple juice.
Serve with rice.
