Ingredients
2 piece(s) | chilli pepper |
4 clove(s) | garlic |
1 medium | onion |
2 tbsp | parsley |
2 tsp | sea salt |
½ tsp | oregano |
½ tsp | fresh thyme leaves |
1 | bay leaf |
50 ml | vinegar |
50 ml | water |
100 ml | olive oil |
1 tsp | black pepper |
Instructions
Apart from the onion chop all the ingredients very small. The onion pieces may be a little bigger to have a bite in the sauce. Put the ingredients all together and let it rest for half an hour.Boil the vinegar and water, add it to the chopped herbs and stir it well. Let it rest again for half an hour.
While stirring pour in the olive oil. This sauce can be held upon 14 days or longer. The flavour is at its best after 1-2 days.
Great with all kinds of steak.
