Chili egg puff recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 10 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pint small curd cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted margarine or butter
- One 8-ounce can green chilies – rinsed, seeded, and diced
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound Monterey Jack cheese
Butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish well. Beat eggs in large bowl with electric mixer until lemon-colored. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into prepared baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Salsa on the side is optional.
