Chicken with Mushroom Gravy recipe

|250 g||mushrooms, chopped|
|2 medium||onions, chopped|
|salt and pepper, to taste|
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in skillet over low heat and add chicken and garlic. Cook for 10-15 minutes, turning once.
Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. Keep warm.
Melt remaining butter in the same skillet and add mushrooms and onion. Cook until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Add sherry and bring to a boil.
In a small bowl, combine milk and cornstarch and blend well. Add to mushroom mixture and ook until mixture thickens.
Place chicken back into the skillet and cook until heated through, 2 minutes.
