Chicken proven al recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg chicken breast tenderloins, sliced |
5 onions, chopped |
3 clove(s) garlic, minced |
1 red bell pepper, diced |
1 large can(s) tomatoes, pureed |
¼ l red wine |
salt and freshly ground black pepper |
4 sprig(s) thyme and rosemary |
2 tbsp butter |
Instructions
In a saucepan, melt the butter and sautee the chicken pieces over high heat until slightly golden. Season with salt and pepper. Add the onions, garlic and bell peppers and cook until the vegetables are lucent.
Deglaze with the pureed tomatoes and the wine. Add the herb sprigs and season with salt and pepper. Cook over low heat for approximately 10 minutes.
Remove the herbs, check seasoning and correct, if necessary. Serve with fresh baguette.
