Ingredients1. Beef broth (2c)
2. red wine (1/2c)
3. water (1/2c)
4. beef rump roast (5pound)
5. dried thyme (1tsp)
6. dried basil (1tsp)
7. dried oregano (1tsp)
8. fine chopped garlic (6cloves)
9. sliced onion (1)
10. vegetable oil (1/4c)
11. water (1/2c)
12. fresh ground pepper (1tsp)
13. red and green bell peppers (3)
14. Italian rolls
15. salt (to taste)
Method of preparation
1. Take a bowl. Mix oregano, thyme, basil, garlic, salt and pepper in it. Apply this mixture into beef and mix it thoroughly.
2. Take a large plastic bag. Place beef in it and then add onion, wine and 1 cup of broth in it. Seal the bag and place the marinade beef in refrigerator for about 5 hours or overnight.
3. Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Take a roasting pan. Place rump roast in it and then pour the marinade over it. Add left over broth and water in it. Roast it uncovered for about 2 to 2 ½ hours. Turn it during roasting.
4. Take out the beef from the juice. Now take Italian rolls and cut it into slices and put on that juicy beef. Add sweet pepper and eat.
