Chestnut shortbread recipe details
Ingredients
300 g | butter |
120 g | caster sugar |
300 g | plain flour |
100 g | chestnut flour |
60 g | rice flour |
sugar |
Instructions
In a bowl cream together the sugar and the butter. Add the flours and knead until well combined. Roll out the dough to a rectangle. Cut into triangles and sprinkle with sugar. Cover with a kitchen towel and leave to stand for 20 minutes.Transfer onto a lined baking tray and bake in the preheated oven at 140°C for 50-60 minutes until light brown.
