Cherry cobbler recipe details
- Ingredients
- 4 cups sour (tart) red pitted cherries with juice (2 cans)
- One 18 ounce box white, yellow or chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Grease a 9×13 inch cake pan. Layer each ingredient in order in the prepared pan, but do not mix together. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40 to 50 minutes. (It should seem almost solid when done – but still move around a bit when you shake it.)
Serve with cinnamon-maple whipped cream (whip cream, adding maple syrup and cinnamon to taste).
