Cheesy kielbasa and rice recipe details

Ingredients
Serves: 5- 1 cup long grain white rice
- 4 cups boiling water, divided
- 1 teaspoon margarine (optional)
- salt to taste
- 1 1/2 pounds Polska kielbasa sausage
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can Cheddar cheese soup
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 30 mins1. Boil the rice in 2 cups of the boiling water, adding margarine and salt, if desired. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the water is absorbed.
2. In a covered skillet, boil the kielbasa sausage in remaining 2 cups of water for about 20 minutes, or until the juice flows freely when pierced; drain. Cut the kielbasa into 1/2 to 3/4 inch chunks. Add the kielbasa and the cheese soup to the prepared rice and stir until well blended. Let simmer, uncovered, on low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
