Cheese stuffed figs recipe details
Ingredients
250 g | dried figs, trimmed |
For the syrup: | |
200 g | sugar |
350 ml | water |
For the Filling: | |
340 g | cream cheese |
120 g | Gorgonzola cheese |
Instructions
Prepare the syrup. Heat figs in the syrup and when hot, remove from heat and allow to stand until plumped and cool.Snip deep crosses into each fig and spread out until almost flat.
Blend cheeses together in a blender until smooth.
Fill centers of figs with cheese mixture. Chill and serve cold.
