Ingredients
1 l | water |
400 ml | can of sweetened condensed milk, 400g approximately |
1 tbsp | vanilla powder or essence |
3 piece(s) | cloves |
3 tbsp | coffee, freshly ground |
300 ml | aguardiente, i.e. alcoholic beverage of 40% or higher |
Instructions
Cook coffee with 200 ml of water. Mix condensed milk with 800 ml of water. Add vanilla, cloves; slowly bring to boil for 3 minutes.Remove, add coffee, cool and strain.
This mix will keep in the refrigerator until needed. Before serving, add the Aguardiente.
Serve very cold.
Aguardientemeans “firewater”, literally “burning water”. You can choose your favourite, e.g. cachaša, rhum, grappa, tequila, vodka, Doppelkorn.
Cola de Monomeans monkey’s tail. It goes down sweet and simple, until the strong aguardiente is added, which might lead to monkeying about.
