Champagne chicken recipe details
Ingredients
4 | chicken breasts, skinned, boned |
2 tbsp | flour |
½ tsp | salt |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
2 tbsp | butter |
1 tbsp | olive oil |
180 ml | Champagne |
60 ml | chicken broth |
g | mushrooms, sliced |
120 ml | double cream |
Instructions
Combine flour, garlic and salt. Lightly coat chicken in flour mixture.Heat butter and oil in a large skillet over low heat. Add chicken breasts and cook about 6 minutes on each side.
Add champagne and chicken broth and cook for another 10-12 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
Add mushrooms and cream to skillet and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, just until thickened and mushrooms are soft. Add chicken, and cook until re-heated.
