Catfish with tropical fruit salsa recipe details
Ingredients1. Catfish fillets (1pound)
2. chopped red onion (1/4c)
3. tropical fruit salad, drained and chopped (1can about 15.25 ounces)
4. cooking spray
5. paprika (1/2tsp)
6. lime juice (2tbsp)
7. diced mild green chile peppers (2tbsp)
8. whole kernel corn, drained (1can about 8 ounce)
9. chopped fresh cilantro (1tbsp)
Method of preparation
1. Take an oven’s broiler, first heat it and then set the rack in it about 6 inches apart from the source of heat. Take a broiler pan, coat it with cooking spray.
2. Take a bowl to prepare salsa, mix fruit salad, onion, corn, cilantro and Chile peppers in it and keep the salsa aside.
3. Now place the fish fillets on broiler pan and broil them for about 4 minutes. Turn the side of fillets, brush them with lime juice and then dust paprika over the fillets.
4. Again broil the fillets for about 3 to 5 minutes or until the fish gets flake with a fork. When the fish gets ready then serve it with salsa.
