Carrots in Orange Juice recipe

Ingredients
10 | carrots, peeled, sliced |
120 ml | orange juice |
300 ml | water |
2 tbsp | honey |
3 tbsp | butter |
1 tbsp | flour |
salt and pepper, to taste | |
120 ml | boiling water |
Instructions
Stir together the butter with the flour and set aside.
Place sliced carrots in a saucepan and add the orange juice, salt, honey and cold water.
Bring to a quick boil, then reduce heat, cove,r and simmer over low heat until tender, about 1 hour. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
When tender, add additional boiling water and stir in the butter-flour mixture to thicken.
