Carrot kugel recipe details
Ingredients
115 g | butter, softened |
150 g | sugar |
2 medium | eggs |
320 g | wheat flour |
2 tsp | baking powder |
1 tsp | baking soda |
½ tsp | salt |
70 ml | hot water |
600 g | carrots, shredded |
Instructions
Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. In another bowl mix together flour, baking powder and salt. Dissolve the soda in hot water.Add flour mixture alternately with the soda mixture to the creamed mixture.
Mix in the carrots.
Spoon mixture into a greased or baking dish and bake at 180°C for 30-40 minutes.
