Caramelized onion and fig sauce recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | onion, chopped |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
200 g | dried figs, halved |
120 ml | dry white wine |
120 ml | vegetable broth |
1 tbsp | balsamic vinegar |
1 tsp | dried rosemary |
Instructions
Sauté onions in oil until they soften.Lower the heat and cook for 15-20 minutes more. Add figs, wine, broth, vinegar and rosemary to the pan, raise the heat and cook until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
Serving suggestions:Serve with roasted salmon.
