Ingredients

300 g	white asparagus
200 g	strawberries, cut into slices and sprinkled with sugar
20 g	butter
2 tbsp	sugar
2 tbsp	orange juice
4 portion	vanilla ice cream

Instructions

Peel asparagus and cut into small pieces about 1cm long. Cook in boiling water together with salt, sugar and butter for about 3 minutes or until al dente. Drain and allow to cool a little.

In a small casserole heat butter add sugar and let caramelise, deglaze with orange juice add asparagus and let caramelise again. Transfer onto plates together with strawberries and ice cream.
