Camembert cheese with pears recipe details
Ingredients
1 pack(s) | Camembert cheese, 250g |
30 g | butter |
1 large | pear, peeled, cored and cut into small cubes |
2 tbsp | dry sherry |
1 tbsp | rosemary, chopped |
2 tbsp | balsamic vinegar |
1 tbsp | honey |
12 | walnut halves |
Instructions
Slice Camembert cheese wheel in half crosswise, set aside.In a small skillet over medium heat melt the butter, add the pears and cook for 3 minutes, add the sherry and cook for 1 minute. Add rosemary and stir. Remove from heat and spread half of the mixture over bottom half of Camembert cheese wheel. Return rest of the mixture to the heat, add balsamic vinegar and honey and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool down for about 5 minutes. Pour half the glaze over bottom wheel, top with the other half of the cheese wheel and drizzle with remaining glaze. Garnish with roasted walnuts.
Serve as part of your party buffet or as a quick lunch or to finish a perfect dinner.
