Caledonian cream recipe details
Ingredients
120 g | cream cheese |
120 ml | double cream |
1 tbsp | marmalade, preferably thick Dundee marmalade |
2 tbsp | brandy or rum |
2 tbsp | fresh lemon juice |
sugar to taste | |
4 | oranges, peeled and segmented |
Instructions
Place the orange segments in 4 long-stem dessert glasses.Mix the remaining ingredients together in a liquidiser and blend until smooth. Divide the cream mixture between the glasses.
To decorate, cut several strips of orange peel and boil in a few tbsp of water in a small pan with a tbsp of sugar. Allow to cool and add to top of cream.
