Calamari salad with chilli sauce recipe details
Ingredients
3 kg | calamari, tentacles reserved |
100 ml | extra virgin olive oil |
1 tbsp | balsamic vinegar |
lemon juice of 1 lemon | |
2 clove(s) | garlic |
3 | green onions, chopped |
2 large | chillies, desseded, finely chopped |
100 g | rocket salad, to serve |
Instructions
Place chillies, onions, garlic, lemon juice, vinegar and oil in a large ceramic bowl. Season with salt and pepper and stir to combine.Cut calamari into thick strips and place in a bowl. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon oil.
Preheat a greased barbecue plate on high heat. Add calamari strips and cook for 1 – 2 minutes each side or until cooked through. Add calamari to chilli marinade and leave to marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Arrange rocket salad on serving plates. Spoon over calamari with chilli sauce.
