Cake cinnamon roll icing recipe details
This is a very good icing recipe my mom uses for her cakes & cinammon rolls. You won’t be disappointed! I promise!

Ingredients
Serves: 12- 1 (1 pound) box powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Dash of salt
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup milk (or more, depending on desired consistency)
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (optional)
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins1. Mix powdered sugar, butter, vanilla and salt in bowl.
2. Start adding the milk slowly while stirring until you reach the consistency you want.
3. Beat with mixer starting on low speed and increasing to high speed for a minute or two.
4. If you want cream cheese icing, just beat in the cream cheese at this stage.
