Ingredients
1 | short crust pastry, tart shells |
For the butter tart filling: | |
70 g | butter, softened |
220 g | brown sugar |
2 large | eggs |
1 tsp | vanilla extract |
60 ml | whipping cream |
Instructions
Cream together the butter and sugar. Add vanilla and beat in the eggs, one at a time. Stir in the cream.Fill the unbaked tart shells with the filling and preheat the oven to 180°C.
Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the pastry has nicely browned and the filling is set.
Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool.
