Butter and cinnamon cake recipe details
Ingredients
For the dough: | |
500 g | flour |
1 pack(s) | yeast, crumbled |
salt | |
60 g | butter |
60 g | sugar |
¼ l | milk |
1 medium | egg |
For the topping: | |
200 g | butter |
6 tbsp | sugar |
cinnamon |
Instructions
In a bowl, mix all dough ingredients together. Knead until well combined. Allow to stand at a warm place for 30 minutes.Knead the dough. Roll out the dough and arrange onto a lined baking tray. Penetrate the cake bottom with a fork several times.
Preheat the oven to 190°C.
Top the cake with butter flakes. Mix together the sugar and the cinnamon. Sprinkle the cake with the cinnamon mixture. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden and crispy.
