Bul dak recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | chicken breast fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces |
6 tbsp | soy sauce |
3 tbsp | sugar |
2 tbsp | honey |
2 tbsp | sake |
pepper | |
vegetable oil | |
3 tbsp | gochugaru (Korean chili powder), alternatively paprika powder |
½ | nashi (Asian pear), chopped |
½ | onion, chopped |
3 clove(s) | garlic, chopped |
1 tsp | mustard |
1 tbsp | sesame oil |
Instructions
In a bowl, mix the meat with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of honey, the sake and some pepper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.Mix the Gochugaru with Nashi, onion, garlic, 4 tablespoons of the soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of honey, the mustard and the sesame oil. Mash until smooth.
In a wok brown the meat, then mix with the puree. Add a little oil to the pan and stir-fry the mixture for 3-4 minutes.
Serve with rice.
