- Ingredients:
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups sugar
- 1-1/2 cups oil
- 1-3/4 cups flour
- pinch salt
- 6 Tablespoons cocoa
- 3 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 cups walnuts
This is probably my most requested recipe. Guests can’t believe it’s so easy. There is no butter or chocolate to melt and not much to measure.
Beat eggs and sugar together until thick, frothy, and lemon-colored. Add oil, then add flour, salt, and cocoa. Then add vanilla and walnuts. Pour into 15 x 13-inch jelly roll pan sprayed with Baker’s Choicecooking spray and bake for 30 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
Note:There is no baking powder or baking soda in this recipe.
