Brent's 3 bean chili recipe details
This is a great three-bean chili for a cold winter day. Chili beans, black beans, and kidney beans are spiced up with a few dried chile peppers to make this one as hot as you like. This also makes a great chili for chili dogs!

Ingredients
Makes: 6 quarts- 3 pounds ground beef
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 (1 ounce) package Williams(R) chili seasoning
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 2 (14 ounce) cans chili beans
- 2 (14 ounce) cans kidney beans, drained
- 2 (14 ounce) cans black beans, drained
- 2 (14 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 4 dried chile peppers of your choice
- 1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 4 hours1. Cook the ground beef, onion, green pepper, chili seasoning, garlic powder, chili powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a large pot over high heat until the ground beef is browned, crumbly, and no longer pink. Pour off excess grease.
2. Stir in the remaining ingredients and bring the chili to a simmer. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until the beans have cooked to your liking 2 to 4 hours.
