Breakfast pizza recipe details
- Ingredients
- One 8-ounce package shredded Italian cheese blend, divided
- One 12- to 16-ounce Italian bread shell
- 8 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled (pre-cooked bacon works great and saves time)
- 2 to 4 tomatoes, sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
Great combination of flavors to jump start a fun-filled day.
Place bread shell on a round pizza stone or a baking sheet. Sprinkle half of cheese over bread shell. Top with bacon, tomato, pepper, and basil. Beat together eggs and milk. Pour in center of pizza. It will spread to the edges. Top with remaining cheese. Bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes or until egg mixture is set and cheese is melted.
