Breakfast bread pudding recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | soft white bread or toast cubes |
1 pack(s) | cream cheese |
8 medium | eggs |
350 ml | milk |
150 ml | single cream |
65 ml | maple syrup |
1 tsp | vanilla extract |
2 tbsp | icing sugar |
20 ml | honey |
1 tsp | cinnamon |
2 tbsp | cocoa powder |
Instructions
In the evening place the white bread cubes in a greased baking pan.Mix together the cream cheese, eggs, milk, single cream, maple syrup, honey, cinnamon and vanilla until smooth. Pour the mixture over the bread cubes. Cover the baking pan and let steep in the refrigerator overnight.
First thing in the morning: Preheat the oven to 190°C and bake the bread pudding for 25-35 minutes until golden. Dust with icing sugar and cocoa powder before serving.
