Bread salad recipe details
Ingredients
1 | Ciabatta bread |
1 clove(s) | garlic |
7 tbsp | olive oil |
500 g | ripe tomatoes |
½ bunch(es) | basil |
½ bunch(es) | parsley |
1 tbsp | capers |
3 tbsp | lemon juice |
salt and pepper |
Instructions
Dice the bread into 2*2 cm cubes. Coarsely chop the garlic. In a skillet, roast the diced bread in 1 tablespoon olive oil. When golden brown, add the garlic and toss. Take from heat and transfer into a bowl.Wash and seed the tomatoes and cut them into eight pieces. Coarsely chop the herbs and the capers. Add all to the bread and mix thoroughly.
Mix the remaining oil with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and let stand for 30 minutes before serving.
